Wednesday is a raining Day

i have been staying here in Kampar for more than a year now.

It's amazing that i can predict quite accurately when it's gona rain.

And trust me, the most significant night for the rain to pour is always today, Wednesday.

Why i say so?

Because Wednesday is the night market day or people here called it Pasar Malam.

When it comes to Wednesday, it'll be as if it never rain before.

You can ask any UTARians here and i'm sure most of them can give you the same anwser.

Everyone is looking forward for Pasar Malam because that is the only grandest outdoor 'entertainment' Kampar is offering.

Yes there are a few big hypermarkets and some Mamak shops here but people get bored of the same things over and over again.

Pasar Malam is the only occasion where students can get a lot of nice cheap and wide varieties food, household stuffs, clothes, vegetables and so on. And it's located at a very short walking distance from students' accomodation, West Lake. Besides, they don't have to dress up nicely and bring a lot of money.

Pasar Malam gives the students the feeling of being at their hometown because Pasar Malam is everywhere in Malaysia.

well, it's raining heavily right now since around 7pm.

No where can the students go to get food.

it's a pity especially to the one making their business at the Pasar Malam. These people are from the lower income group.

Let's just wait for the rain to stop while we do some house cleaning, laundry, assignments etc.
