RIP Chloe

It's a truly sad moment for us.. at least me..

My heart feels so heavy right now. Speechless. Shocked. Stunned. Clueless. Feel like puking. Just a moment ago, i was so happy, laughing out loud, chilling, then i got a message that someone has just passed away..

i asked my friend to confirm it. Then a friend called to tell me the same thing, followed by a post in Facebook. A friend of the victim's brother said the same thing too. so it's true..

On the night of 29th October 2010 at around 9.10pm, a girl and a guy on a bike had a collision with a Mercedes outside of Westlake Homes, Kampar. Now the girl, Chiang Wei Shan (an ex-UTARian who supposed to resume her studies next Jan) has passed away at 6.48pm today (7.11.2010).

Who's fault? I don't know.

Someone posted this on her Facebook this morning: Chloe might not survive if she couldnt pass through today doctor said if she still remain the same after today as her brain is dead, they will shutdown the machine that keeps her survive right now. SO ALL THE PRAYER WE NEED YOUR HELP TO PRAY HARD FOR HER SO THAT SHE COULD GONE THROUGH TODAY!! ASK ALL YOUR FRIEN...DS TO HELP TO PRAY HARD FOR HER IN THE NAME OF LORD JESUS!!!

Before this, i saw some posts in Facebook saying that she's in coma. I really hoped she'll be awake. But now, she's gone forever..

I was there at the scene to take photos (http://j-on-news.blogspot.com/2010/10/serious-collision-in-bandar-barat.html). The girl was so scared. She was screaming due to the unbearable pain. She hold tightly to her brother once she saw him. And she kept on apologising. I went to the hospital to follow up. I can see how great is the love of her brother. He was angry at the slow response from the hospital. I was pissed off too. So much delay at the hospital. If things could be faster at that time..

That's the first and last time i saw her..

I really hope someone actually witnessed the whole accident to give a justice to her.

Around this time last year, 3 UTAR students passed away too (http://oh-chineng.blogspot.com/2009/11/students-swept-awayagain.html#uds-search-results). James Khor Wan Kai, Yew Shy Gin and Yew Ghim Chnieh got drowned at the Batu Berangkai Waterfall, Kampar on 1st Nov 2009. I was there, covering news. I was there, when they found the bodies. I was there, when their family members and friends broke down.

Now all their Facebook pages are flooded with wishes and condolence. They'll never have the chance to reply.. My heart breaks looking at the posts asking Chloe to wake up.

No one knows how miserable i am right now. I feel bad because i didn't got the chance to pass the accident photos that his brother asked from me.

I may not know her, but she has just left a very big impact on my life.

Coincidentally, these few days, i recalled the waterfall incident and now another death took place.

My deepest condolence and prayers to her family. Stay strong. She'll be sad if you are sad.

May her soul rest in peace.

My friends out there, Please.. Please.. drive safe. Please! i don't want to take pictures of your dead body on the road. i don't want to hear from anyone that you got knocked down by a car or lorry or what-so-ever vehicles. Think of your loved ones. If you scared you'll be late, depart early, don't speed. Follow traffic rules. Drive safe, drive slowly. Always say your prayer before you start your journey.

be safe..

Let me take this opportunity to say I LOVE YOU, I AM SORRY, and THANK YOU to all of you, each and every one of you including my family members who have came across my life, in case i don't have the chance to say or I'm too afraid to say it to you.

Let's all of us, in our own way, whether you believe in religion or not, pray for her and her family.

Sedekahkanlah doa buat mereka. Semoga rohnya dicucuhri rahmat.

Amitabha..

God bless her.

i am working, people

SRC

Things that you might not know.

it's not that i didn't do anything.

i did a lot of things.

but..

students don't know what i did.

i didn't tell everyone everything that i did for them.

i didn't tell because i am sincere.

i didn't tell because i feel i don't have to announce to the world what i have done.

i didn't tell because i don't want to have the impression that im showing off.

i didn't tell because it's not the way i work.

it's my job. it's my responsibility.

A friend said to me, "There's no need for you to tell. As long as you know you did it, it's good enough."

Yes i agree. I totally agree. in fact, i always practice that.

but in reality, this way is not working.

it's human nature that people wana see you are doing something. the students wana know and they need to know what i've done for them.

when people don't see, they will say you do nothing.

ok i will try to tell more after this.

if that's what the people want.

to my Prime Minister

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, sorry to tell you that you have been eliminated. You will not get my vote in the next General Election. I believe some other people will do the same thing too. But of course you still have the time to change this negative outcome. I might change my mind. I'm rationally hurt with your recent statement in the UMNO General Assembly. I would suggest you to think of your retirement plan. Maybe you could head a ethnic-cleansing NGO?? God bless you.

Campbell Street

6.14pm 13/10/2010

Campbell Street, Penang : It's also known as the Chinatown as it is populated with the Chinese once upon a time. This is one of the streets in Penang where shophouses from different eras can still be found. You can still see a lot of old Chinese people surviving with old trades such as the Chinese pharmacy, Rolex shop, wet market, antiques shop, gold shop, textile shop and so on. The whole George Town area including this street used to be very lively before the repeal of Rent Control Act in year 2000. Now, it has become a quite street. Many tenants have moved out. The shophouse only open in the day time for business. At night, you can see some sex workers making their lives here. If no action to be taken to revive this heritage street, we can never see, learn and experience the beauty from the past. To live in a modern world, we don't necessarily have to destroy the past. Modernisation and heritage can be blend together.

UTAR new buildings

29/9/2010 9.41am View from Block C Cafeteria, UTAR, Kampar, Perak.

New buildings are being build at the green lungs of UTAR, Kampar Campus. It can be seen from Block C Cafeteria which is just opposite the construction site, separated by the lake. There will be two entrances to the new site which are from the Sports Complex and Block H. Due to the construction, the habitats of the animals are destroyed. Birds are flying away, buffaloes and cows can no longer stay there. The development also caused the lake nearby to be polluted. Soon, the nice view of the greens and clear blue skies will no longer available. More students are expected to enroll here once the completion of the expension project. Kampar town will then be more vibrant, alive but also high in population, crowded, polluted and not that green and nostalgic anymore.

money by government = haram or halal?

As far as I know, this is the first time that a state government is giving out cash donation to the old folks but some politikus claimed it's haram. So i wana ask, the MONEY that the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT spend on the country is HALAL or HARAM because Genting casino pays tax, TOTO Magnum too, tobacco companies, alcohol as well as imported pork and etc which is haram in Islam. So??

If federal government says that the act of Penang state government is HARAM by giving out cash donation which is from horse racing betting, then i would say our Federal Government is HARAM! Haram because federal government is the one who passed the laws, enforce it and now they want to legalise football betting. If BN could not please and help its people, please don't use dirty tactics to bring down my beloved Penang state.

Who is Halal and who is Haram?

Those doing charity or those giving the license and legalise the activity?

Stop being hypocrite. People with sound mind is watching.

Bersyukurlah kalau ada insan yang berbuat kebajikan. Jangan dituduhnya haram. Sesungguhnya yang haram datang daripada hati kita sendiri.

*to those who wana return back the money, can donate it to my bank account. I will feel very blessed.

Namewee, you BABI ah??

Photo from Malaysiakini.

i just got a news from http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/143878

the news is about Perkasa members calling Namewee BABI and torched his photos which has been edited with his nose replaced with babi's nose.

Babi is pork la. Char Siu.

the Malays (the racist one la) all this while love to call us Chinese as babi. hahah! funny la. you call us Cina Babi just because we eat babi? or because you can't eat babi because it is haram is your religion?

funny. so how should we response? you Melayu Lembu kah because you eat lembu and the Hindus can't and some of the CHinese also can't take lembu?

lembu is beef by the way.

so i wana ask, Namewee, you Babi ah? i don't think you are lo cuz you walk with your back straight and not like babi. Babi can be eaten but you can't.

if you think are not, it's okla. just keep quiet lo. let them do what they want la. human wih brain won't call another human being as an animal ma right. eh maybe they don't have human brain. hahaha.

aih wasted la. if i knew that Perkasa is so perkasa tonite by calling Namewee BABI and torch his pics, i am for SURE go down to KL! maybe i can get free Char Seow Bak there. eh i tau u people import Babi to Malaysia, gov also get $ ma.. suty import and tax and everything. not meh??

u thought i duno ah??

anyway im impressed with Perkasa la.

waaaa. they are so creative and good in Photoshop. they edit the picture nicely, i like the babi's nose. that Perkasa members also got so much money to print big posters of Namewee hor. then they also have to waste their matches and lighter to torch his photos.

so i'll just wait for the news whether police and FRU will dispersed them or not la. if got, how long they took to decide that Perkasa is holding an illegal assembly.

and i would also love to see whether anyone from the group will be charged la. maybe for illegal assembly, causing public disorder, harming the public, trying to burn down something ke..

haha..

well.. we'll see la what the police will do. alaa.. you know, i know, everyone knows that our police very fair one ma right. just that sometimes a bit abusive and double standard lo.

okla i say no more la. dangerous la.

racist society

do you guys realised that all of us have been living in a full or semi-racist society?

agree or not?

this is a fact. it is more obvious recently with racist remarks and acts that ruin racial and religions harmony in the nation.

i'll give you some examples  to support my argument here.

some (especially recently) love to call the Chinese and Indians as immigrants and ask us to go back China. why?

some will stay away from the Indians especially in the swimming pool because they claimed that the Indians hair got a lot of kutu. why?

some say that the Malays are lazy pray to wall. why?

these are just some of the common racist thinking and misconception about the other races. there are more and more out there. i am sure you faced, made and heard more of this kind of statements.

why why why??

one of the reason is our upbringing. when we were small, our parents always say bad things about other races so that we won't mix with them, so that we can stay closely with our own people.

second reason would be these racist people do it to enlarge their political mileage. Once you are racist, you'll be praised like a hero to your ethnic and eventually you will get support in the political arena la.

many more reasons but im not gona elaborate more in this post. maybe i'll come up with a proper write-up on this issue.

why must we have this kind of ideas about other races?

Why during pre-Independence the non-Malays nvr FIGHT all out for equal rights during the political bargaining process? why huh??

We shall ask Tunku Abdul Rahman, Tun H. S. Lee, Tun Sambanthan and others.

and i hate it PANTANG GILA BABI when people say the Malays are lazy!

hmm.. takde kerja lain kot. orang racist patut je disulah dan dipotong! hmpph!

don't be skeptical, generalise, and have misconception of other people la..

Those who feel the Malays are lazy should read the journal 'The Myth of the Lazy Natives' by Syed Hussein Alatas.

If you don't have money to buy, go online and search la at http://www.bandung2.co.uk/books/Files/Economics/The_Myth_of_The_Lazy_Native.pdf

Malaysians, no matter who you are, what race you are, what religion you embrace, where you are, please learn and mix with other ethnics to understand them. respect diversity.

And please to judge an issue from the political, communal and religion perspective.

OI MALAYSIA IS MY COUNTRY LA!

Thank you.
