3 Photostat Shops Got Raid

Kampar, 10 June - Three photostat shops in New Town got raid by the Ministry of Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism late evening yesterday.
The three photostat shops which are LS Photostat & Printing, Papercut Enterprise, and Cherry House violated the printing act by illegally printing textbooks.
Testbooks, notes and fotostate machines were seized.

Students were seen going to print their notes but were told that the shops are closed for business.
Mr Faizal, the owner of LS Photostat & Printing said that the machine cost him 18 thousands.

“Not only me suffer the loss, the students will fell the loss as well because after this they have to buy original textbooks that are way too expensive,” added him who remained calm.

Officers could not be reached for comment.
